A social events calendar is being organized by the MFF moderator team. We are planning for:
* 6 events where we will be able to discuss chat and get to know new members, this will be a stand up finger food and drinks.
* 4 BBQ's, one each month of June, July, August and September
* A main event, in the form of formal sit down meal, where the calendar year will be presented to forum members
These are going to be held in the South, Central and North of Malta to accommodate MFF members.

The dates will be announced later, so that they dont coincide with our fishing competitions.

Thanks to all for your patience.

Guys,
The MFF senior moderator team is also compiling a calander of fishing tournament events, and this will shortly be published together with the social events calender.  So, as Shanook said, please have some patience, its still very much work in progress, but very soon all members shall have visibility of this year's social, boat fishing, rod/land fishing and spearfishing torunaments and events.

The added value of the forum is that we have an ongoing discussion 24/7. Its more then a club, because the sharing, lessons learnt, discussions and swapping of ideas are all documented and open to all. Moreover, a quick search can lead you to all the information required since if a topic has been discussed, its all here and available at the touch of a button.

my suggestion is not to put so much competition as it will decrease good feedback.

some competition is good but not too much

well done..........

On behalf of the Moderator's team I'd like to thank all of you for the encouraging remarks posted here.  Yes, we are meeting and discussing initiatives that will have a very positive impact on the way forward.  During our get togethers, BBQs and also from threads posted here, we have directly or indirectly listened to all of your remarks, suggestions and ideas to make the MFF a greater success then it already is.  This input from your goodselves is serving as our point of reference during our discussions.  Soon, infact very soon, the MMF Senior Moderator Team will be in a position to announce the official Calander of events/tournnaments.
