Hi guys,
how about having a pre competition meeting this weekend for all attending teams

some simple guide lines
A team consists of 2 persons
divers are not allowed to swim in reserved areas
divers must always be within 10 mts from each other
teams must use a buoy at all times
rules and regulations are based on international competition rules
a full set of rules and regulations will be given out at the meeting or pre competition
meeting place will be disclosed at a later date

meeting time will be 7 am location will be given on friday
competition duration 5 hours
it seams the wind is west force 2 -3 so most probably it will be on the east coast

just a suggestion.

today sunrise is at 5am so why we don t meet at 6am, less traffic and its Saturday so there will be lots of boats on slip way.

Yep I perfectly agree with emic about the time !!! I can t wait till saturday !! mostly to meet with you people mostly to meet up the new one dameteur so i will teach him a bit hehehehe !!

yes i agree we can meet at 6 am
less hassels of traffic and better parking

standard member 12.50 per person

We have managed to arrange with Beachaven that this will be the finishing point for the competition as given the prevailing wind forecast the competition meeting place will be Xemija for fishing on the East.

Finish time will be around 1pm but this will be confirmed on the day depending when everyone is launched and ready to go, plus as the forecast shows the wind picking up in the afternoon one doesn't want to finish too late.

Beachaven will host all the dingies coming in alongside for the weigh in and we will use their podium to announce the winners, take photo's etc. The bar will be open and offers food and drinks as needed.

finish is at the beach haven in xemxija

Which is the breakwater of bugibba??
Is it the main jetty underneath Portobello, the one a bit away from gillieru??

Yes that's the one with the big slip where the tourists boats leave from!!
