Fishmania trip saturday - we need 2 more people

Hey All,

We are 2 guys going out with Fishmania this Saturday morning (hopefully). The boat is for 4 person's so we need another 2 guys that would be interested. Its Lm37.5/person to rent the boat etc.

Hello! Does anyone know if the fishmania is still actively running these trips? Any idea who an agent is ?

I think one thing Chris of Fishinmania hasn't started doing is jigging trips; stand to be corrected but I don't think he has any experience with jigging. Clutch_Kick can you confirm?

I know he's very good with deep bottom fishing.

Re: Jigging trips ... they are very much Ad Hoc ... he's only a phone call away.

Chris is a very good friend of mine. We went for the Jigging competition in sardegna togather. I don't think we placed 6th out of 32 teams just by a stroke of luck.

ohhh didn't realise he was into Jigging, it's not something he advertises at all on his site. Actually to be honest Chris ought to promote himself a bit more, his site is very static it's been the same for years and he doesn't seem to bothered about promotion.

I know I've invited him via email several times to come on to the forum. In the USA charter boats captains generate 90% of their business from contributing to forums where in turn customers on the forums book with them. As he's a good friend of yours I would be inclined to try and get him involved.

once he was also featured in a prgramme on caccia e pesca re jigging, so I think he does know a thing or two regarding jigging.

Here is some more info re-Chris @ Fishmania.

The price full day (8 hr) is 370 euro all included per boat trip. If you do not want to charter the full boat, someone like Pirotta Fishing organise it for groups. No idea of the price per person but I find out will share the info.

I watched him landing some very nice alungi from his boat in Marsascala Harbour when I was out there last month, he also had some top of the range tackle in his rod holders so he obviously knows a bit about trolling, to go with his knowledge of jigging, & his knowledge of bottom fishing, I bet his knowledge of fly fishing is a bit thin though"

I've gone out with chris of fishing mania about 6 or 7 times. He's excellent, he knows what he's doing and has a very well kept vessel. We have gone for deep sea (300m he said), lampuki and alongi. Everytime i went i had a lot of fun. I would go again.
