5.9 mtr or 6mtr kaptan. Built 1999, twin toyota 2000 turbo diesel inboard engines. Speed 25 knots. This is a steady, heavy, reliable boat in very rough weather. It goes complete with fishfinder Raytheon (1200 ft) a Garmin 180 GPS complete with fishing Map of surrounding waters.VHF radio Icom,  Rod holders, safety equipment like offshore flares Kit, and 24'' ring buoy, flushing toilet, sand and rock anchor etc... Also included in the price is the trailer. complete with winch, also a mooring at Birzebuga.
Reason for selling is to buy a larger boat.

Tony sorry to hear you are selling M.V. 'Shanook'; but I can vouch for her when I say that she is one sturdy boat and built extra thick and tough throughout and very well looked after as Tony is a hands on man.

Hi Shanook,seen your boat when it was in the garage when i was helping nick do the underside of his new boat.certainly looks a solid and well maintained boat ideal for fishing with the large open deck at the back.I see you are thinking of getting a bigger boat,what sort of boat did you have in mind?

Thanks rerdbus and nick. I havnt decided on the new boat yet redbus, I might be attending the southampton boat show in September, two years ago I attended london's boat show and there were some boats that attracted my attention.  I have been putting this off for a couple of summers its not easy to part with my boat as I know exactly what I have, and how it handles in rough weather.

another one to vouch for the boat, very sturdy and reliable, many a time got caught with shanook on the open sea in rough weatherand always arrived safetly, another thing shanook did not say when he explaid the boat is that its a lucky boat and we can count on one hand the times we came in empty handed
