Now it is official - There will be no Powerboat P1 Races in Malta this year. According to the information I have, The Maltese Government did not renew the 3 year contract it had with the P1 Association - Hence - No races for us this year. It is a real pitty that our Champion - Aaron Ciantar will not be able to defend the title in Malta.

Cannot understand why the Malta Tourism Authority has money to sponsor UK football and not an event held in Malta.  

The Poweboat P1 Race Calendar for 2010 is as follows:

7 - 9 th May 2010 - Yalta ( Yes Yalta in Ukraine - this is not a spelling mistake)
11 - 13th June 2010 - Istanbul Turkey
9 - 11th July - Cascais - Portugal
6 - 8th August - Gothenburg - Sweden
17 - 19th September - Sicily



Guess we will have to follow the race in Satellite TV.
