Spinning off shoreline

Hi all @malta fishing forum.
Been wanting to give the shoreline a go with spinner and maybe  fly, been boat fishing from xlendi a few times but never done much and it's a little dear for regular attempts. (Not moaning about the cost they have to make a profit) I've tried rocks a few years ago a couple of lads took me to some sewerage outlet or something near mgarr only got very small fish bait fishing.
Just wondered if Dwerja might be any good near to the channel on fungus rock, looks very deep might be good for the odd barracuda, any tips do don'ts much appreciated guys.
Ps catch some great sea bass In UK off rocks so hoping some species are around here that's will take the lures !
