Marsaskala - Fishing store?

Hi all,

is there a shop where you can buy equipment in M'skala? I don't mean rods and reels, just hooks, leader and line (all the small stuff)?

I remember seeing some rods standing outside a house near the bus stop Xmiel opposite the booze-shop two years ago but I'm not sure if that was a shop.

If there isn't anything in M'skala can you give me a hint where the closest shop is? I don't want to spend two hours of my fishing time to go to Valetta and back on bus. I might get a bicycle if there is anything close enough.

Oh yes, another important question!! Is there a shop where you can buy czech beer (or any other Pilsner), goes perfect with anisette!

Hi, there is a shop in Marsascala/Zabbar, called fishing Frenzy. It is located in the new Bypass, just after you start the main road off Hompesch road

Just for everyone who is interested, Lidl sells Pilsner beer in Malta as well. i've never been at one in Malta so i didn't know. a friend just told me.
