Hi Guys,

I've been looking for some more cost effective kill bags and came across these from Sea Anglers Fish Bags. Sea Angler Kill Bags

They offer two models, the inshore bag and the offshore bag.

Inshore bag measures 91cm long x 50cm, costs $75 excl shipping and local duty/VAT and I reckon is perfect for smaller boats catching lampuki, tunagg, tumbrell etc. Two of these bags would probably be good even for boats up to around 18 feet, as I reckon they will hold 3-4 smaller alungi (8kgs) per bag.

For larger boats and larger fish!, there's the Offshore Bag measuring 165cm x 50cm, costing $160 excluding shipping and local duty/VAT.

Two of the smaller bags is still cheaper than one big one and are probably easier to store.

If anyone is interested in getting one for this season, reply to this thread and we'll see whether we can get a better price or deal on shipping.

Any idea how long will it keep the fish cold ?
Do you know approx how much would the shipping and Vat etc be ? Maybe you can ask for a discount if we order a significant amount.
Let me know when you're getting yours I think I'll get a small one.

Not sure how long these particular bags will hold the fish for, but I reckon 24 hours easy with some slush. All you want to do is a) prevent them from being in direct sunlight, b) keep them chilled and c) not make a mess all over your boat or car!

As they're quite bulky shipping usually isn't cheap, but I'm hoping that with USPS it will be reasonable. Duty should be around 3.5% and VAT 18%

If anyone else is interested, let me know as I'm looking to place an order at the end of next week.
