VopiMan

Hello everyone, my name is Owen, I'm from Cospicua.
I'm glad that I saw this forum since I was trying to find some tips to help me.
Anyway, I mainly fish from shore, and I like to fish in Isla, where the open sea area is, and
I mainly only catch small vopi, but I would really love to go deep sea fishing, but sadly I don't
have a boat and I can't get one yet.
Half of my family is greek, but I was born in Malta, I'm nearly 13 years old, and I've been
fishing since I was about 4.  I came across this forum while searching for some tips online.
Thanks for reading, hope to see you in the forums!

Hi my name is Andy and I live in Bristol uk, my wife and I are in our fifties and I am disabled (walking impaired).  My brother-in laws wife is maltese and my wife and I have always wanted to visit Malta.  I have been fishing for many years, but I have never been abroad.   At the moment my son is staying in bugibba, having never been abroad on his own before.  My wife and I are visiting Malta next year, to stay for three weeks, i would like to do some occasional fishing during my stay as well as a fishing charter boat.  Can anyone tell me what are the average charter boat prices this time of year as well as a recommended skipper I can relay details onto my son please.

Mny thanks

Andy

Hi All,
I am Robert, new to this forum, found it while I was looking for cost sharing or any type of fishing experience.
I love sea sports, I've been spearfishing for some time, but lately I have been addicted to fishing.
I don't have a both so mainly i do shore fishing, but i'm starving for a big catch.
Anyone willing to give me the opportunity to join him for a day of fishing i'll be more than happy.
I live in Santa Venera, but originally I am from Zurrieq.

Thank you all and keep up this good site.

Mario_LRF

Hello, my name is Mario and I'm 30.
I practise light rock fishing from shore, which is a popular fishing technique in Japan.  Also I have my spinning rod because sometimes I like fighting big catches.  I always do catch and release.  I am not yet in Malta and I don't know how the fishing is like in there, so if somebuddy wants to meet up and share his spot it will be welcomed.

I'm from Spain but I'm moving to Sliema In 2 weeks.

A Seabass is too valuable to be caught only once.  Catch and Release

Hi folks, my name is Paul Meredith, i am 65 yrs old and live in Falmouth Uk.
I am an avid fisherman and enjoy any and all types of fishing. I  fished from the shore just outside the Portamaso marina on my visit last year and caught  a lot of fish, mainly small bream and wrasse but did lose what I think was a barracuda ( the highlight of my holiday)
at first light on a red/white 7cm plug.
I'm coming over again this year for the month of October and can't wait to expand  and build on the foundation of knowledge of the fishing that I  learnt last year.
For someone of my age, it's fascinating to fish for different species to my normal bass, salmon and trout, and I can't wait !!!
I'm hoping to gleen lots of info from your forum.
Anyone with a boat in that area who would like some company one day (more than happy to pay for any fuel costs) I'd love a day out !!!
Regards,
Paul
