Title: need help for lure fishing
Post by: julianj on October 03, 2008, 20:59:50 CET
HI, for some time i tried fishing with lures but i had no results...recently i am trying again hoping to be sucessful,i tried many lures and techniques but still no results,i see hear about many anglers catching fish with lures but somehow i was never successful. i purchased some good lures and did the motion exactly as directed but still i didn't catch even a small bass.
i would really appreciate it if someone would give me some good tips on lure fishing(from shore)..or  maybe point out something that i am not aware of.

thanks

Hi julianj.First of all the best time for spinning is still to come. You need a spinning rod with action in the range of 10-30gr with a good reel spooled with good 0.25 to 0.30 line so you can cast out as far as possible and some experience with the drag. And most of all best time is sunset and sunrise.

You can try Marsa (Ras hanzir) near the cement sylo or Ponta ta lisla. These 2 locations are good for lure fishing
