Title: Land Squid Spinning
Post by: Buddhagrass on November 12, 2008, 12:39:47 CET
Hey Guys ...... has anyone lately encountered any good sized squid while spinning from land ? It seems the sea is still a bit warm for nice sized squids to approach us. I heard Cirkewwa and Marfa are doing quite good on small to mid sized ones but ...... it is definetly not my kind of place to go squid fishing. Too much people clustered into the same area. You can play the game "Pass on the Phrase"  ;D while spinning over there. I prefer Qawra/St Paul's Bay area. Much more relaxed.

You see you're not thinking outside of the box!! What we should do is go to Cirkewwa/Marfa by boat and sit 500m offshore, spin and catch all their squid!!
