Title: Few Fishing tactics!!
Post by: brayden on November 19, 2008, 14:23:39 CET
Friends,
Get few strategies from the winning team that keeps their fellow anglers informed about what fishing tactics work, what ones do not and what equipment is best for sport fishing. A professional knows these things because they make it a job to know what works and what does not because one fish that gets away could be the prize winning fish that would make any angler proud, professional or amateur.

Sportfishing for game fish is very interesting but in my opinion not something adapt for our local waters. There's already a severe lack of fish and the set up for a sportfishing team will usually be an overkill. Personally I would only support sportfishing on a strictly catch and release basis will gear set up accordingly. Going after big tuna, swordfish etc is something more akin for Carribean waters and parts of the US as well as other game rich waters.

Locally and under EU legislation, sportfishers require permits to conduct their activites.

Here in Malta we are mostly recreational fishers.
