This is an innovation in live bait trolling.
Tried out the jig on dead fish and it works really nice.
At an average speed of 3-5knts the dead bait (fish) was swimming very nice. Infact we had a strike early morning.
Anyone who would like to have more info or view some vidoes of this innovation just visit the webpage:
Shortly this new innvovation will be available in Malta.
Advantages of this new jig: One could use dead or live fish for trolling and even up to a speed of 3-5knts will just swim perfectly.
This one will be the hit for next summer just wait and see!
I'm pleased to hear that you tried out the new trolling jig, I believe that you are a skilled fisherman! For how long did you troll with this jig?
we tried this new lure for quite a good number of hours.
Something very positive i noticed is that the bait stays on the jig for very long time, even at 5/6 knts.
i'm sure this will be a hit even in offshore fishing.
next time i will have to try out using some good weight to be fishing in deeper waters as it was only tried without any weights.
keep us posted then placebo!
Placebo has this rig come out for sale yet
?
not sure yet! but when we meet for the next outing at Mgarr there will be the inventor of this jig and we will discuss.
Ok hope it's ready and for sale mabye i catch a dentex now :p (MUCH Easier said than done)

I think predapro is different and is better to use and also how it swims with a small flat fish like Kahli or griewel its extrordinary and also with variable speeds up to 6knots the bait was still there. In my opinion this rig has nothing to do with the predapro.........
hmm i wouldnt mind trying it out still...
ignorant ? ho dont now you mulett
Hi garnitu,
I bought that rig. It is called stocker wobbler. Website www.stockerwobbler.com I bought the three sizes about 3 years ago. They cost around EUR 20 each. That rig is very different from mine. Apart that it looks very bulky when you put the bait fish, when you troll it the fish doesn't stay on the rig long because as you can see from the picture it doesn't have have a locking pin to lock the fish in place. You are not going to troll this rig not even up to 2 knots because when I tested it from shore just to see how it swims, the baitfish almost slipped away immediately from this rig and even how it is constructed it cannot cannot keep swimming correctly up to 5 knots. If you want to try them send me a message and I give you one to try it out.
My rig is going to come out shortly because this week I received the packing from abroad and now started printing the instruction books.
ahh glad that you know about it. yes i can confirm the source you quoted. that means yours will be an improvement to the ones present, right??
if i am not mistaken their intention is to wobble, right?
regards, nich
Yes Nick, the porpose of the rig is to make the fish wobble as if it is alive.
Mine I think it is more improved and less visible and can take any type of fish even a Kahlija. When mine will be availble we can go together trolling and use both rigs and see which one is better. I already tried the stocker wobbler mentioned by you and from the picture you can see that there is no means to keep the bait fish in place. Another important thing for the stocker wobbler is that you have to match exactly the size of the baitfish with the lenght of rig.
The trolling rig shall be ready in two weeks time. Now you can troll any type of dead bait fish from 2-5 knots with life like motion and can be rigged in 5 seconds.

Predapro lures will soon be available.
Last summer these lures were tested rigorously in many fishing situations. We rigged from insell as bait to sawrell (blue runners).
Fish caught were barracudas, plamti, serra, Lampuki and even blue fin tunas.
Last sunday where tested again and we managed to catch 3 nice size barracudas. One of them weighed around the 2kgs mark.
The new lures come in 2 sizes to rig baitfish from 12cm up to 22cm. The bait fish can be rigged in 5 sec and can be trolled up to 5 knots.
Dear All,
Kindly note that Predapro website is now in operation. Those of you who want to know what the rig looks like and how it performs you can watch a video with underwater footage as well.
Kindly log on

Thanks,
Clayton
do you know where I can get one from gozo or do I have to go to malta for it???
I believe it's just Misterfish who is selling them and I think he has a representative in Gozo. Give them a call and see where you can go.
ok thank you
how is it with live bait?
somehow I think once you stick the bar inside the fish and use the locking pin I don't think it will remain live! The scope is to use fresh bait but not live.
Looks like a fantastic product, I have tried to buy a couple online, but cant seem to get past the Add To Basket, page, how do you get to the check out page.
Captain Gus
Which site are you ordering from?
www.predapro.com
Hello,
What is the problem please regarding the ordering? Because I tried it and it seems ok. When you choose the size needed just click 'add to cart' button and you will be directed to another window.
Please advise.
Thanks :-)
Just tried the Predapro website again and this time everything went through okay.
Thanks Clayton
It looks like a fantastic product.
Captain Gus
Dear All,
Kindly note that on line ordering from www.predapro.com is only for overseas clients. Local clients are kindly advised to purchase from Mr. Fish outlets. Please also note that all discounts apply for predapro lures when buying from Mr. Fish.
Thanks for choosing predapro lures :-)
looks like a quick and clever way to present a dead bait as a 'swim bait' and would save lots of time stitching baits with sinkers under their chins. I for one look forward to giving them a run under our conditions.
Good work!
Thanks Joe
