Title: Fresh Water fishing in Lake Awoonga QLD Australia
Post by: twoutes on December 07, 2008, 23:06:38 CET
I have just returned from another trip to QLD, but this time for some freshwater baramundi fishing in Lake Awoonga. We cast lures of all types into snags around trees roots, and even heavy weed.
The ladies l fished with maned 5 barra for the trip ranging from 67cm to 103cm. Even though the fishing was very tough.

There are also lots of other species of fish in this dam, from cat fish bone fish and mullet all of which the barramundi feed of. It was good seeing all the bird life around too. Swans, ducks, pelicans, finches and parrots. It was a good relaxing fishing trip.
