hi ppl there were 4 teams taking part from 8am to noon. I leave a full report for Mulett 75 as he was the most active in organising this outing. All in all it was fun.
Sorry that there were a lot who were going to take part but for one reason or another they missed out. Miked, Ramio, Buzumark and Shanook were there as spectators. Skip and his better half came over as well. There were a couple of spectators who asked about the forum.

It was Monday the 8th December (public holiday), were 8 competitors, most of which from the forum, met in Marsaxlokk at about 07:15, for a mullet competition. Spitec, Placebo, Sufrun, ABI131, cyberJoe and Mulett75 all took part, together with some guests.
After everybody went to their places and stared to ground bait, the participants were anxious to start fishing. Spitec was the first to land the first mullet, followed by Mulett75 and ABI 131.
As time went by Mulett75 seemed to be landing the most fish which at the end came the as a winner together with his team mate Sufrun.
There were other fishes which were caught on the day, one of which was a nice gilded head bream caught by Spitec.
At the end we all met and shared our views on the match and on the future of this competition. Skip suggested that next time it will be organized in a better way so that more participants will attend. Other forum members were also present taking photos and even a video by Shannok.

thanks to you shanook for the video, that was quick bringing it up in the forum! It was a great day and also the weather was great! Mullet75 is a very nice chap to be with and it was with his experience and technique that we won the competion!!!
I would also like to thank ramio and skip's girlfriend for making a commitment and come for the competion so as to take photos of the event. Looking foward for our next mullet competion ;)

Well done Shanook, super video. It was a wonderfull event, showed me how much dedication you shore anglers put into the sport. Pity not all attended, well for next time.
