Title: Fishing with live/dead bait
Post by: kris on December 19, 2008, 17:00:27 CET
Hey guys

I was wondering how one should rig up with live/dead bait. ??? ??? ???

I am referring to when a lacca or vopa are used. The one with the piece of squid or cuttle fish I've got an idea how to set up but regarding trolling with live/dead bait I am still new to it.

If you are kind enough to help me with thickness and length of line, hooks, trolling speed, weight used, how to rig the live/dead bait, etc,  I would really appreciate.  :) :P

Thanks
kris

the hook size and the line thickness all depend on which fish you are targeting.

regards the speed, 1-2.5kts.

always use 2 hooks, one from beneath the mouth upwards and another sideways near its anus (ass hole lol)
