Is there a chat room or anywhere to ask questions since I just bought a new boat and am new at all this

There's a shout box on the main index http://maltafishingforum.com/talk/index.php but it's more a sort of greeting box. A place to leave a Hi, bye, or passing comment rather than a chat.

A forum isn't an online chat room, basically you ask your questions by creating a new topic in the most relevant section.

If as in your case you just bought a boat then chances are you want to click on the Forum button towards the top of the page in between Home and Gallery and then scroll down past all the various boards to the Marine section.

There you have boards and sub boards that cater for various things, general questions, riggings, electronics, engines etc. Once you've navigated your way to the most relevant board, click on New Topic and ask away.

One word of advice is to first click on the Forum button mentioned above and then use the search box at the top right hand side and see if the question has already been asked/answered :)
