Hi Guys,

It's been a while since we met (mhux xi hafna imma insomma  ;D) and I was thinking maybe we should meet up for a nice meal @ United Restaurant, Mgarr. Unfortunately we have to skip the land squid fishing night due to NO SQUIDS available  ;D. We'll do it later on this year for sure  ;). As some of you may know United Restaurant specializes in rabbits, quills and horse meat but chicken, meat etc etc are still available for those not interested in eating anything from the first 3 items mentioned. I was thinking maybe we should do it Friday 27th February. If 27th will be a problem for a lot of MFF members we'll try to sort out another date but let's try our best to stick to the 27th for the time being. Any of you interested in coming please list your name underneath. I think we should go for boys only this time ... x'tahsbu ? For those reading this post and never had the opportunity to join up in an MFF event I strongly suggest you all come. You'll get to meet other members, share a laugh or two, make new friends and get drunk together  ;D. So .... what your waiting for ........ just write your name underneath  ;D

I would not think twice to do it if I was with the same company as before, but a new friend of mine just bought all the equipment after I told him to have a try, and it will be his 1st time, and we will be just 2 couples.

Date is 27th February and time I would something around 8.30pm/9.00pm. Hope you'll be able to make it.

Till now 27 are attending. Last date for people to confirm their attendance will be Sunday 22nd so that on Monday 23rd I'll call United to book the whole restuarant I guess  ;D. So please if you know any members from the forum who might be interested in coming kindly inform them about the final date for marking their attendance  ;)

So .... just a small update. I have just called United and told him that we are already 28 people for the 27th. He told me that it's ok regarding the number and I can confirm with him the final amount till next Wednesday evening. Cheers  ;)

Guys, as you all know, MFF, the place where we meet, share ideas, organize events, make new friends and enjoy our free time needs quite some money to keep running, maintaining and in the future upgrading to a better, faster server. Till now all expenses have been paid by Nick (Skip) himself and a little bit of help from donations collected, which I am sure it isn't enough at all. It is so unfair for Skip to have all the financial weight of MFF on himself. I think if we all can contribute a little by giving a tiny donation during every MFF event organized, we would be of great help to the forum and taking a tiny bit of the financial weight off Nick. I think giving ?2 (85cents) each head during every event would be a great contribution from everyone of us attending. I hope you all understand of what great help we'll be to MFF by doing this gesture.

Ok Guys ..... it seems we filled up the whole restaurant. The place is booked for 42 people and the guy told me not to add anymore. I told him we'd be there at around 8.30pm. Thanks to all of you attending. I'm sure this is going to be another successful MFF event. May I once again please remind you that we'll be collecting ?2 (86c) donation each person. All the money collected will go for MFF. As we all know MFF is getting bigger and bigger and it is not fair for Nick (Skip) to pay all the expenses related to MFF by himself. Thanks a lot for cooperating and c ya all there next Friday ;)

Well done to organiser and all those who attended. Was a pleasant meeting.
I would like to point out though, that when sitting down toeat we don't get to mix between us. We tend to form the usual gangs. The ideal situation is when we have activities like the one at xmas time where all could walk about and talk to everyone. What you think guys?
