Title: Cost Sharing Trips
Post by: The_Gaffer on June 19, 2009, 19:30:45 CET
Alongi Cost sharing trips

Come and share in the fun, guranteed Alongi Hot Spots
Alongi Cost sharing alongi trip-

I have factored in all costs related to going out on a trip for alongi from 5.00am till about 12.00pm.
Cost includes, use of boat, fuel, top notch shimano and penn rods/reels, pakula and dogo peche destroyer (pakula) lures, the famous williamson king lures, outriggers, guaranteed hot spots, use of fridge, maintenance and pontoon costs.  Cost per person is Eur50, minimum 4 persons, to a maximum of 6 persons, excluding me.
Any more and it gets a bit too much in the cockpit.  On fish sharing, it depends on the catch.  Am available any day during the week or Saturday excluding Sundays.

We meet on Pontoon A at 4.30, by 5.00am we have to leave.

It is a shame that it was so windy when I visited in June as we were unable to get out in 'The Gaffer' but I'm looking forward to next year already when hopefully it will be nice and calm.

Hello and good evening

I wonder if anyone could offer me any advice on a fishing trip please?

My husband and I are in Malta 19th - 26th May 2012 staying at Golden Bay and I would like to treat him to a days fishing either deep sea or trolling.

Would anyone be willing to take him out or offer advice on who I could contact please?

He is a keen fisherman here in Scotland for salmon and trout.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Debbie

Hi all. I am coming to Malta On 6th Feb for 18 days. I have been to Malta for 3 weeks or so for the last 3 years. My question is although I fish from a boat in the English Channel 2 or 3 times a month I have not got around to to fishing in your country, something I would much  like to do.I have enquired before and found your charter trips to be rather expensive compared to the U.k. I was just wondering If any body out there had an aiternative by the way of cost shareing perhaps. I live in hopes. Kind regards. Ric.

Yes charter trips are a bit expensive however one must also consider the local coat of fuel. February is a bit difficult for us as most of our boats are on the hard. May to October would be a different situation!

Benri.

Are you still organizing these sharing trips as we will be in Gozo / Malta from September 7th through to 16th and would like to get a days deep sea fishing in.

Dear all,

Alungi season is soon around the corner.

I would like to offer some of my boating time for cost sharing trips intended to those who do not own a boat. I encourage others who own a boat to follow the suit too - one of the nicest feelings is the happy vibe a new angler brings on when fishing for the first time for alungi.

Anyone interested let me know. Let's hope that it will be a good season

Regards,
Nicholas

Unfortunately I don't organise cost sharing trips since most of the time I'm always accompanied by 2 other people. I suggest you either take up Granitu's offer or maybe try maltafishingtrips.com.
