anyone has the lowrance and is experienced in its use as i just got one and i would like to know the different settings. I set it and i was getting a lot of noise (was in 3mtrs of water, anchored). then i tried for deep fishing and i would like to know what the different colours signify like whats hard rock or sand????

i used mine the first time today went in 500 + mtrs but the bottom colour it gave me the same colour all the way from the begining of the trip. By the way the model is Lowrance HDS 5. Its very strange I will ask Simon.

yes mine is hds 5 as well. I also didnt get the temperature reading.........

I have the airmar thru hull B60 . i dont think it as temperature sensor.

yes the b60 has temperature
