During the winter I installed additional equipment on my boat including an auxiliary motor, additional fuel tank, etc... When applying antifouling I kept the old waterline but I'm now realising that from the middle towards the rear my antifouling is about 3 inches below the waterline! Do you think it's better to bring the boat up and arrange the waterline? Will I do any damage if I leave it as it is and arrange after the season?
3 inches seems like a lot, given how you put weight up front as well. Keep rubbing down that area to make sure you don't get any growth, but I think I would leave it for a winter project. Before you pull it out dont rub it down for a week or so and the waterline will be marked for you.
Benri: Adding to Skip's comment, I would also consider extending the water barrier to cover that area which is now being emmersed in the water. So yes, definitely a winter job.
i think its a winter job. Cover the new area with osmosis prevention also.
