Well done to AFM  Its about time that the government used its services for what they were meant for (Ie, protecting Malta,s own natural resourses,) not spending its time, and Maltas money rescuing illegal imigrants who have spent thousands of euros on getting to malta. If the government of the UK tried spending some of the british tax payers money on looking after the british terratorial waters instead of importing illegal imigrants by their thousands. and then rubbing it in the brits face by paying them to be in briton, this money could be used to build our own sustainable cod fisheries in the north sea, but at last the Malta AFM Have taken the bit between their Teeth and done some thing about it, Lets hope that the politicians now HAVE the back bone to support the AFM and not back down and start apolagising for detaining the poor innocent italian fishermen who were washing their nets when the fish just happened to jump in their nets
