Amazing boats for fishing ! They are very wide and spacious, they are good in rough weather and given good conditions can go quite fast too.
Ive been aboard one of a friend and its very good for fishing he goes for swordfish with it.  He has 2 isuzu engines on it.

You can it's up to you. Are you going to do a marine engine ? and will you be using shaft or zdrive?

Anyone have any photos of those qalfat 18ft boats?  Seen the 25ft models and can say that they are excellent boats......

When you say that you are selling a boat please specify the reason why you are selling it. Its a little strange that first you say that they are excellent boats and then say you want to sell yours.

No need to write this BUT I have no qalfat boats and have no boats for sale....I just wrote that I have seen qalfat 25ft boat and it is a very good boat.  However I do agree with Moonwalker that whoever wants to sell his boat, he or she should state the reason for selling.

In this thread msell and ARC said that they have boats for sale. However I was not refering to someone specific. This happens in other threads too by different members.

I must say that Qalfat boats are some good boats for fishing. I have been on a 25footer powered by a perkins phrazer 210 and it is great. Still i love the petecrafts

posted photo of 18 ft qalfat boat in the gallery. its the white and maroon with yellow kabus. but for an 18 ft boat i would consider one from chalie tal qajjenza its the other boat in the photo the white and blue with kabus. very steady boat even in rough seas. not the first time we had to pick up swordfish long lines in force 5.

Those boats are great bus :) Personally i do not like the qalfat 18. But the ones of qajjenza are surely great for fishing.

Qalfat boat makers in Gozo are just as you leave Victoria/Rabat on the way down the hill after turning right by the small roundabout/road junctions to Marsalforn. It is about 200 mets down on the left, right next to the Fire Engine station. I do have the phone numbers at home but I am not in Malta at the moment.

As far as I know Qalfat Boats have since moved to a new location in the limits of Xewkija.  the best bet to find them is take the ghajnsielem road all the way straight to xewkija till you reach grejden car showroom, turn the roundabout and drive about 30 seconds till the last house on you left.....

Yes they moved like you said shaftbomb.
Now they've moved to the road before qala, in an old rock quary..

If you are coming from Victoria, they are in the beginning of the road leading to Ghajnsielem and then to Qala.  But I gave offken the easiest route since I know he is maltese...  :)
