Fully installed, construction of long line winch and net winch on clutch with oil pumps etc etc I have been quoted ?4400 Euros, reasnable or not? Also does anyone know a good marine electrician?
To me it seems very expensive. I made one like 4 yrs ago...it cost me Lm600 fully installed.

Perla, i went to another place reccommended by someone here as well, they wanted $1500 euros for just the longline winch complete not installed, he was near the roundabout near Attard, my girlfriends cousin at M'xxlok Peter Caruana put me onto this guy and came up so I assumed he was on the straight and narrow.
148148 1500 euros just the long line winch or with the motor that you have to put with the engine? for just just the winch its a robbery. from jimmy the one on the raod from attard to mosta aboat 3 years ago it was 800 euros the winch only. power center at bir id deheb also has long line winches they are about 800 euros. than you need the motor that fits to the engine and an oil tank
With Jimmy it was $1500 complete not installed for the $4400 quote is was 2 winches all the oil pumps, motors etc etc etc fully installed
The best place for winches in Malta is from charlie of Zurrieq. I got two from him one long line and another for nets. The quality of these are better even the welding itself is very neat. He also have discounted hydraulic motors.
