Title: Hi all!
Post by: Ringu on October 06, 2009, 08:22:31 CET
Hello everyone. As you may see I am new to the forum although I have been following some conversations for the past few weeks. I am also very new to fishing and need your assistance.  ::)

I have been fishing (from the shore) on an everage of once a week since May but havent been able to catch any nice-size fish. I have not tried many locations, mainly been to the south of Malta and the best I managed to catch are a few 'pappagalli'. The Griewel and vopi are all small.

Can anyone recommend an area where I should give it a try, perhaps in the north of Malta please? B'bugia, Delimara etc were a bit disappointing unfortunately.

Many thanks in advance and keep up the interesting conversations!

It depends what type of fish you are after and if you can fish with thin line and float!

Thin line and float you can go to marsaxlokk maluq or near delimara power station bottom fishing(nothing special but you get some bites).
