Title: Running Float Reel.

I was looking online for a reel,will be using this reel only for running float nothing else.Do you suggest any good reels?Had a good look At the Shimano Catana 2500 which looks good for my needs!!Any suggestions?

the shimano exage is quite a good reel for running float

Firstly you have to see with what line diameter you are gone spool it and see how much line length you want it to take.Try to find it with an extra spool so you will have two different diameters.

I will be using 1 spool .18 and the other .20,i think its enough.

I wouldn't go as close Kev.It's only my opinion but I would go for 0.18/0.20 and 0.25 because 0.18 and 0.20 is nearly the same.As I said it's just my opinion.

I agree.. on a recent article on pesca da terra those two setups, 0.18 & 0.25 were recommended..

Kev if you will be using a fine rod i'd go for a 0.16 and a 0.22 ;)
