Title: Fishing Rigs
Post by: Spirit of Jason on December 10, 2009, 16:29:08 CET
Hi Guys
I am trying to find info on different types of fishing rigs, so that I can make some up ready for the new season.
There are not to many sites , or I cant find them, that show you how to make up different types of rigs.
One site that I did find, American I think, showed a couple of rigs, once they had made up the rigs, they applied super glue to all the knots. Correct me if I am mistaken, but would'nt applying super glue to the knots, make that area of the mono or braid very brittle, or is it common practice to apply super glue to knots, therefore making stronger
knots.

thanks

Russ

@ Russ

it's isn't so often to use glues on knots but there's a specific glue that you can buy from local fishing shops that it's a specific glue only for fishing lines and the knots become much more stronger. I don't like the super glue cause the line tends to get more visible where glue is applied.
