Title: penn multiplier

i have just been given a penn multiplier reel, all it says is no 160, any info would be great although i may never get to use it  :-\ :-\ :-\

Probably it's an old tool by Penn which never lasts.

I got two of the same on my boat some 2 years ago and worked really well even on alungi.

They are good for light trolling. If they are the same they have a print no.160 on the black side bucakalite .... they will last forever mate.

I have 1 Penn longbeach and 2 Senators. I can say that these reels are extremely heavy duty and hard working reels!

thanks for all replies,  my guess is its an old one, allthough very clean, and it is a bit on the small side, so one more question, would it be used for fishing from a boat, (which is my guess), or from the shore, i was also given an old rod, with cork handle, rod is 2 section, approx 2 mtrs when made up, bit on the heavy side for my liking, and over half of the first section is cork, any help please,  ??? ??? ???
