Title: Large Jerry can
Post by: benri on May 17, 2010, 20:12:11 CET
Does anyone know from where I can buy one of those large blue jerry cans to use as a buoy please? Also, should I fill it with foam or something and how should I tie it to the main rope please?

bryan there are those white ones at garage or else there is one yellow (used for oil) or else there is one back and one blue large and there are smaller ones in blue...................and u go on MFF to buy one when u can get it for free?!?!?!?!?!?!
OH well maybe its better this way...........yo benri I have one its 5 euro..........

its better if u fill with jabloo that way if the top opens or breaks up it wont sink.....and yes u can tie to main line .....u can  make aloop in main line that is if u have extra length...dont do it exactly to the surface but leave a bit of slack...........

upstairs..........how many cans do u need to fill ......there might be enough for at least 2 dozen cans.................u think thats enough?!?!?!?!
get a long knife to cut the jabloo or hacksaw.......if not dont worry there are hacksaw blades at club.
u might need a medium sized shackle.......but first we have to see what system u are going to adopt to do ur marker

MMA will be asking you to have a white buoy with your S number cleared marked in black on it so you may as well take that into account as apparently it will be mandatory from next year in the St. Paul's Bay area.
