Hello my dear friends.
I am recovering from the operation at Mater Dei.
Everything went fine during the operation so now I just have to wait and recover and hopefully i get back to the sea as normal as i was before. I praise the lord for this.
You know...this interactive piece of equipment is fantastic, better than a laptop at home ; :)
I need to tell my she to buy me one. The cleanliness here at hospital is fantastic, and the staff are absolutely gorgeous, some nice nurses by the way. I am the entertainer of the ward, i got up from the theatre singing they said ;D and every here and then i go to make the day of some patient a bit more lively so that they forget some of the pain.
I already did this operation 15 years ago and the recovery was terrible, but this time i thin they changed the packing material and i am absolutely fine with no pain at all. Although the worst has sill to come when they remove it after 3 days.

Get well soon and hope you get a speedy recovery. As for the packing...it will not hurt that much just take a deep breath and relax. 1.2.3... and you'll feel like your brain is getting out from your nose along with the packing. Anyway it didn't hurt that much when I did a similar operation this year in feb. However it is important not to sneeze lol...

I have been sent home and tomorrow I will just go to remove the packing.
My pattie enjoyed the experiance, and in fact she made a good laugh out of it. Look at the photo she took me as soon as I was out of the theatre.

Jokes aside, she took very good care of me, maybe also because of the fact that she didn't want me to stay alone with those nice nurses.
Before the operation they told me to remove all my clothes including undies. I noticed also that the theatre was full of ladies, and after the operation I found a large adhesive patch attached to my leg close to my right testi... they said that it was due to high blood pressure during the operation. Hahaha what a laugh. At least I shaved before ;)
NOW we knoe the reason there was a sudden demand of 'vomit bags' at the hospital lately............

Hope you have a speedy recovery Silv, I'm sure its good to be back at home although I'm sure the nurses are already missing you! Pity you didn't manage to take any pics of them, I guess the interactive touch screen doesn't yet have a camera on it!
The last paragraph on the post above really made me laugh, especially this bit 'large adhesive patch', I guess they didn't need you to pitch a tent!!

I can now say that I got back to normal obviously being carefull to infecting the coaggulating area, and I will not dive for quite some long period now.
I feel my nose crispy on the inside due to coaggulated blood which is healing my scars.
Just hope to be able to dive again, since that sometimes I really doubt if this was the solution to all..
But I am positive, and I have to dive some way or another.
Well silv u know u have another option........when u tried trolling for Alungi if I am not mistaken u liked it. Well for the time being we can help you if you take up bottom fishing, and trolling. From bugibba u shoot out about 6 miles and u can have fun bottom fishing, just a short distance to the fishfarms u can try jigging and along shore u can try slow trolling......oh forgot kalamari..........so u can pass sometime till u get better.
