Title: Any suggestions?
Post by: Shangriblah on April 25, 2011, 23:14:07 CET
Here with my family for the next two weeks, we're looking for suggestions for a good offshore fishing trip?
Had a disappointing trip last year, and caught some fish fit for a home aquarium!

Thanks, Dan

Dan,

Deep Bottom Fishing, Jigging and live bait trolling for Amberjack should be good at the moment. You may also be able to go out trolling in the vicinity of the fish farms.

Most people have their boat out of the water for maintenance at the moment but some are in the water......who did you go with last year?

Which areas do you typically launch the boat from? If you use a trailer, one option would be deep water fishing opposite maghtab / splash & fun (use the bahar ic caghaq slipway).

You are guaranteed catching Serran  which is can be quite chuncky and if you are lucky pagell or rosette! (sorry dont know the english equivilant)
