Some time ago I came along a wonderful snow sledge and immediately I knew what I had to do with it.
Wow a plancetta I said. After leaving it in the garage for long I started the planning.
I have never used fibre glass before so I started to do the top of it using plaster, jablo, wood, metal, paper and hard metal.(http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt290/Zambarett1/1.jpg)
This is what it looked like at start...
Still a lot of work needed to be done.
Sanding and finishing so that I could give it a coat of fibre to do the mould.

Next was the actuall manufacture of the outer shell of it, finishing them and glueing together. I decided to used yellow gelcoat so as to be more visible, and here it comes.

I wanted this to have a reel for the line, a dry compartment, a visible flag, produces very low drag in water, lots of eyelids to connect equipement and extra guns, a mesh bag for what is needed and a nice shape. I also wanted it to be light, very visible due to boat traffic in summer, and be able to be carried easily whilst carrying other equipment, and this is what the end result looks like.

awesome built silvio, but one curosity,
the rubber border, did you attach the rubber with pop rivets? careful they rust baghira. i would suggest to cover them with some sealing material baghira - obiously of a marine grade type.
brilliant workmanship however
yep rivvets.
But they do not rust since made of aluminium.
They are not drilled through the body cavity, since i needed it to stay afloat ;D
Thanks guys.....
