Title: slugs (bugharwien)
Post by: sg on June 12, 2011, 13:23:42 CET
am not sure if this has already been discussed, but i tried a search and nothing came up...are slugs any good as live bait? we seem to rely a lot on worms (hniex - tal-imperjal/tal-korea) imported from abroad, but slugs seem quite common locally....

No use at all I'm afraid, the minute they hit salt water, they start to disintegrate into a ball of slime, the only thing they are any good for bait for, is for chub in freshwater, they regularly fall off the overhanging vegetation & chub gobble them up, but in salt water they are toally useless ;)
