Guys be careful.. Some have already been caught..

Also be careful when handling cos I think even the skin may be toxic..

it is for sure because it's weapon is in the skin...when it feels thretend it inflates like a balloon and that is when it is mostly deadly

I am to beleive that the green pufferfish we catch on longlines are not hazardous if touched.

You are right guys.
I handed the information to my dept. regarding this press release, and the Puffer fish species is not the one illustrated.
The editor simply found this Puffer fish nicer than the one that is being caught in Malta.
The one in this picture is dangerous to touch, whilst the one we catch in malta is poisonousto eat.

In japan there are specific chefs that cook the pufferfish I saw it on discovery channel

robby i saw that when they peel their skin, they put it in boxes and locked with a padlock :O

I read on the internett that the chefs that cook this kind of fish has more than seven years background training how to cook it safely. Therfore do not try to cook yourself or you might end up in a cemetery.
