Trouble is that not all Braid is created equally. Aside from the number of strands, it would seem from the online feedback that a lot of this Chinese braid isn't up to par with its rated strength.
Do a quick good search for Chinese braid....there must be some semi decent stuff on the market though its a question of finding the right supplier

It's cheap, but make sure you contact seller first for the shipping charges as none are listed!!
Then will be curious to test the breaking strength, should be alot eaisier to measure 20lbs stuff and will give us a good idea of the quality. Will probably take like 3 weeks to arrive though!

Have you tried to measure it's breaking strength using a drag scale?
Skip i had some 20 on my carp rods in the uk from this same supplier and it broke around 25ish,havent got a strong enough pull scale for the heavier stuff but seems of exactly the same quality,but very fast free delivery ;D
