Unfortunately, I bet you this i not the Mediterranean... I did see a "mullet frenzy" the other day... just as I heard a boat's toilet being flushed... :)

Have been lucky enough to see it and experience it first hand once when around 25nm offshore on the West coast out from Gozo. Was with SimonG and Fin at the time and as luck would have it back then we were not prepared and only had two rods/reels, one was a Lineaeffe KAM1000 which broke!!! and the other a late 1960's Penn Senator that had never been serviced.....it didn't break but the drag was a bit sticky.

I'm told I was lucky to come across such an event, as far as the eye could see there were 20kgs BFT jumping around. The good ole days!

Me and Rammx had the same experience a couple of years ago. We had hundreds of tuna under the boat and I'm not kidding the feeding spread hundreds of meters around us. Ramms even tried to hook one on a bottom fishing rod 3ft long :) but we all know Rammx, once a dolphin scared him and he tried to gaff it!!! HAHAHAA I can tell you guys the feeling is amazing, we just shut down the engine and watch them feed on lacci and the only thing left where fish scales! We were looking at 5/6 ft +

yogi and me once ended up in the middle of a frenzy, tried to get one, and ended up catching a kubrita. It was a sight to behold! with seagulls attacking from above and big game from below :) We were about 12nm south east
