Anyone can indicate a good security lock for Johnson 8 HP other than a normal stainless steel padlock?
iweldja il bold jew irbati il kamin
Not practicable as if I want to remove engine for whatever reason it wouldn't be possible than
If they want to steal your outboard there is no way of stopping them... I would just go for a padlock, they can take the outboard and leave the boat intact. Always better than finding the boat stranded on the shore with the transom sawed out ;)
You're right :)
if you want to remove engine for whatever reason just cut the bolt lol
Malvizz..... you know what fantastic solution was found to steal props when you put in a proplock.....
Simply screw off all the gearbox, and you will find your engine not only without prop, but also without gearcase...
So simple solution, good insurance...
