Hi all
I am looking for a value for money boat between 16ft - 18ft. Can anyone guide me on what is available with pros and cons please (e.g. hull, reliability, handling in windy conditions, etc)
I would prefer if I get honest and objective replies please rather than comments about different sellers and why you should trust them or not.
I need the boat mainly for leisure and possibly the occasional fishing outing.

Takksi what is value for money....I think that's quite subjective. If as you said it's mainly pleasure you shouldn't have any problems, even a frejgatina will do. There are importers, Mecca, PTR, Hightech etc etc. then there are builders like petecraft, seabrave, buccaneer etc etc.
my advice is go have a look, see what you like, check the costs, if possible have a trial run (since it's for pleasure, it's highly improbable you will get caught in rough seas).
