Title: Marinised Toyota 2.4 turbo diesel engines

Does anyone have eperience/ own these types of engines? I would like to have some info , or someone who can work on them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I can ask but I have a marinised Toyota onboard my boat (18 diesel). What I can say is that they are very reliable provided you maintain them adequately. They are sensitive to maintenance and periodical maintenance is a must (eg yanmar marines are work horses and survive the harshest of environment and neglect).

Im sure that the 2.4 litre diesel toyota engine was marinised professionally by Nanni.

I recall people actually calling me off to install a turbo on a marine engine - They tend to experience a lot of issues at sea presumably because air is rich of salt particles
