Hi guys, its been a while since i last posted here but know its my best chance of getting the right answer immediately.... Basically I need to know what paperwork needs to be completed and what departments we need to visit in order to transfer the ownership of an 18 foot kajjik.... also, whom we need to contact to get the new registration number (as this particular kajjik has not graced the water for a long time and still bares the PTF registration number)
Thanks in advance for your replies.
In case you're wondering, this is the one :

As far as I know you only need to go to Transport Malta Marine section. The form I have attached is to be filled one by the seller and one by the buyer. You will need to present the original boat log book, photocopy of ID cards (seller & buyer) and a certificate of boat insurance on the buyer for boats having engine 10HP or bigger. You will also need a witness to sign both the forms and also a photocopy of the witness's ID card. Hope this helps.
As for a new registration number, I cannot help, sorry!
thanks malvizzu ;D
if it has a Ptf number it is registered with the fisheries and not with maritime. If you are going to register it MFC you do not have to go to maritime. you can arrange everything at Fisheries
