Title: Gangmu
Post by: e-fisher on April 03, 2008, 18:34:17 CET
Hi All!
Does anybody have information regarding the local beam trawl known as 'il-gangmu' which is used to catch the glass shrimp.
Information needed:
Season fished
What is the bycatch (i.e. other organisms apart from the glass shrimp.)
What equipment is required
Possible fishing sites
and other information
If somebody has some information or knows somebody who uses this technique please inform me on edwin_mt@yahoo.com. All information is much appreciated.
Thanks!
