Guys,

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend, who is thinking in buying a wooden 31 foot sailing boat. It had a Kubota 10hp engine installed, but unfortunately it seized. Thus, my firend is looking for a marine engine, new or second hand to install on this boat. What engines do you suggest? and where to buy new or second hand ones here in Malta? He is looking for a bit more power, say 1.5 Ltr to 2.0 ltr. If any of you have an engine for sale, PM me your details and engine specs and I will forward it to him. Thanks and have a nice day!

Try Joe of JFC marine in Zebbug. I had your same prob 3 years ago.. don't worry to put a bigger engine had 25hp and put a 40hp on a 32ft Westerly and consumption is much less

I would go for a Beta 30 - 35 excellent engines...from Rabat
