Title: Trebles on spinning lures Help
Post by: Chrismassa on August 24, 2015, 17:54:27 CET
Hi,
I need some help on how should i change the rusted trebles in my spinning lures.. Is it better to go to a fishing shop and buy the same size of treble ( kulpara). I know it might be stupid but i want to ask how to change them.
Thanks,
Tight lines

Yes, go and buy the same size of treble hooks because if not, the lure might change its swimming action. The majority of lures have a split ring with which the treble hook is attached to the lure. Open the end of the split ring with something thin (like a flat screwdriver, there is also a designated split ring pliers), get out the rusted treble hook and at the same time put in the new one.
