(Asked by my uncle as he has recently bought a 12ft frejgatina and since he's new in Malta he doesn't know alot)
How much does it cost to park your boat in the ocean? If thats not possible, is it possible to park your boat outside the ocean secured with some chains.. etc..?
Thank you. ( PS, he has a garage but he doesn't have a trailer hook on his car so he can't tow it. )
From an insurance perspective you won't get cover in winter unless it's in an insurance approved sheltered location, eg. a marina
Best to contact your insurance company as they have a list, and then see where you can find a place which isn't that easy but for a small boat you might be lucky to find a temp spot in winter
