I need to replace a double lip drive shaft oil seal for a 6hp johnson. Buying an original part would take 2 weeks to arrive.

Can I use some other alternative which works just as well? diameter of shaft is 7/16'

You will not find.You can just try to find an o ring that might work the same.... But not a double lip

I bought something similar from the guy that sells bearings in Mosta, the road opposite the Church but I don't know his name sorry.
