Title: Getting Started
Post by: JBM on February 12, 2017, 13:53:30 CET
I'm thinking of trying out slow pitch jigging for the first time this Summer and so far the resources on this forum have
provided a lot of information on setting up a good rig for jigging, especially the write-up posted by skip.

How have people's experiences with jigging been so far? Since a typical setup is quite expensive, is it worth buying a jigging setup or is this technique rarely successful? I probably won't be travelling further out than 5-7km from shore (50-80m max depth), and I'm not sure whether this may be a problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
