No question is stupid my friend! if you don't ask you'll never know! To answer your question no not necessarily you can find them in deep water and also in fairly shallow harbours too..as granitu said they are all over the place this time of year,best time to go for them is early morning around sunrise onwards & at dusk onwardsin the evening.Agan as granitu said san pawl mal pont is very good also marfa can be good in the evening.

shall i try and use more than 1 lure? apart from having the rapala xray, it's better to have some kind of yo-zuri crystal minnow...!??

Id certainly reccomend a yo-zuri crystal minnow they are very good lures.First maybe try the rapala x-ray & basically experiment with different lures in different places..there isn't any real rules so to speak! go with what works!

i found that the yozuri red head is very good for barracudas but if you do not have any lure will do in the range of 9 to 14cm

I believe red and white is supposed to simulate a fleeing bleeding fish that has been attacked. Either way, red head and white body seems to be very productive for Tuna. Not sure about cuda's
yes red head is good for cudas. This year i got some good lures from ebay at a very good price which are giving an excellent result.

I got a nice range from DUEL at a very nice price (locally they are selling them for around 10EUR)
also got some replicas of YOZURI range from CHina...all they needed was a replacement of the treble hooks and they swim perfectly. I already caught lizzijiet on 5 of them!

Hi sirena,it dipends on the places you would like to try for cudas especially for the size.The most used sizes are between 9cm-11cm.For the colour its very complicated because everyone has his favourites,its an opinion!I suggest you buy a few different ones and you choose the best one for you.I can assure you that all the lures some days work better than the others.

Misher Fish does have a big range of Yozuri Crytal Minnows. U will be spoilt for choice.
If you go to mr fish gzira,the salesman there is very helpful.Like Aab131 told you .You will be spoilt by choice.
