Title: How effective are cedar plugs?
Post by: fin on May 25, 2006, 21:24:56 CET
These have seem to be the fulcrum and the beginning of one of the most succesful lures in the world which are still used today and apparently still going strong.

Has anyone fished with them around here and caught>?

Fin, I haven't fish Malta, however I've pulled natural cedar plugs an painted cedar plugs and they on lure I won't be without. They have to be one of the oldest lures in use today, and still very productive. I pull that all speeds and I'be dorado, and alll kinds of tuna, and yellow tail (a member of the jack family). Like the Energizer Bunny, cedar plugs just keep catching fish.

Best regards,
Capt. Mike Fisher

Hey mike,
