Title: Doc's Proplugs For Better Spearfishing
Post by: Buddhagrass on July 11, 2008, 09:55:03 CET
Hi Guys,

I've been using these Doc ProPlugs for ages, in fact I was the one that told EmicMalta & Chris about them (or to be more exact where to order them from)  ;D. After suffering from various infections in my ears I decided to do some research and stumbled upoun these plugs. They really do miracles. They completely keep your ears warm, helps you equalize really good and no water enters in your ears whatsoever. It even prevents your hood sucking up with your ears (you know what I mean). The most important thing to do is that after each dive you should clean them with clean running water and never leave them to dry in the sun. Their material is soft sort of silicone and they might loose shape in the sun. One more thing to notice is that before ordering any of these plugs PLEASE FIND THE CORRECT SIZE from the size chart provided in the site. My first pair where a bit large and they were so uncomfortable and useless. The website to order these plugs is http://www.allstarsalesltd.com/content/docsproplugs.htm. Just click on order and select Doc`s Proplugs - 1 PAIR - Vented (with hole). Be sure they are vented as the others are not suitable for apnea. You may be able to print the sizing chart from the description area givin. I hope you all have some great time spearfishing with these plugs free from infections and ear discomfortness that sometimes we all encounter.

Hi guys. I just ordered them from ebay a week ago, and they came a bit cheaper then the ones from allstar sales I beleive. I will for sure have an extra set, but they will be in malta I beleive this week.
I did not try them until now, but will soon. I will let you know the size of the one extra that I will have. Probably large.
