Great Vid!! Well Done!
Thanks to all for ur encouragment.
Thanks nick. See what happens with old age, I forgot to hit the utube button oh well, Nick to the rescue. If u listen u are on the VHF as well as simonG.
We are not professional cameraman but we try. Wanted Frank to film part from the side windows but he didnt, as i wanted to show u how easy it is to lift an alunga from the water with ur bare hands.
We try to film better next year........... either from Shanook or else.......
benri if u look close its the same fish dont tell anyone ok.....
I am still looking for ways how to clip the video camera and let it film on its own while we play the fish but I have not found the ideal angle yet
Great video, noticed you didn't appear to gaff the fish and the first one you used something to just lift it aboard. Made it look sooo easy?!
the first one i gaffed. The gaff is made of a short bamboo stick and a bent 6mm rod sharpened to a point. The second one i pulled in by the tail. hey i fish a lot on my own so i got used to reeling in and gaffing the fish without any help.
Surprised, you made it look so easy. Another plus point about your boat, good accessibility to get the fih on board easily :)
great vid and nice catch, well done!!
the cameraman (not me of course) said thanks.
and I admired the way you caught the alongi by hand!! I might say that it was a feat!!!
Prosit Tony ..... amazing video
Well done mate .
issa wiehed tal Lampuki imiss eh
might sound stupid but what about fitting a camera stand on the side so you can film easier
have been thinking of it simon but i have to make sure that it wont get sprayed by sea water. dont want to mess up the camera.
